Dr. Rustemier was raised in Alachua, Florida. He attended the University of West Florida in Pensacola where he received a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Professional Biology. After graduating magnum cum laude and scoring in the top 99.9% on the Dental Admissions Test, he relocated to Louisville, Kentucky where he attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and graduated with honors in 2018. Upon graduation, Dr. Rustemier received the prestigious Dawson Scholar Award, which is awarded to two dental students in the country per year in recognition of commitment and achievement in clinical comprehensive dentistry and TMD. Dr. Rustemier is an avid pursuer of knowledge and completes well over 100 hours of dental continuing education each year.
He is a Fellow of the Implant Pathway, an alumnus of the Dawson Academy, and is currently enrolled in Augusta University’s prestigious Implant Maxicourse – a comprehensive, yearlong dental implant curriculum that spans over 300+ hours of continuing education. Dr. Rustemier worked in private practice in Seattle for one year before realizing he’d been away from Florida long enough and it was time to return home. Dr. Rustemier is very happy to be back in Central Florida and to be reconnected with his small-town roots. In his spare time, Dr. Rustemier enjoys fishing, scuba diving, spearfishing, and kayaking. He is also a lover of music, and enjoys playing instruments, jamming with other musicians, and writing songs.
